CENTRAL DISTRICT

NEARLY 20,000

Enlistments in the Central Military District up to the closing down of the voluntary system on July 22 totalled 19,548. Of those so far medically examined 11,899 have been passed fit, 2298 have been declared permanently unfit, and 7764 have been dispatched to: camp. There are at present 1186 names on the temporarily unfit list.
