A STANDING COMMITTEE
(British Official Wireless.) (Received July 30, 1 p.m.) ' RUGBY, July 29. The Secretary of State for War (Mr. Anthony Eden) has set up a standing committee to consider the present ad- | ministrative organisation and procedure of the War Office and military commands. The committee is to make recommendations with a .view to introducing changes in the organisation and procedure as appear necessary in order to ensure elasticity. It consists of three general officers and three business men, and will be presided over by the permanent Under-Secre-tary for War.
