Una Hill Consolidated Gold Mines reports: Crushing since last return 24 loads general dirt from low level development gave 14oz bullion valued at £98. From the south end 301b picked stone for 20ioz bullion, value £143. Crushing of general dirt from south end continues, yielding about 3oz to load. Development is being pushed ahead with gold still showing in the south face.

New River gold return for the week ended July 25 was 28oz of gold from 11,800 yards treated in 120 hours.

White's Electric Gold Dredge return for the week ended July 25 was 21oz of gold from 8000 yards treated in 89 hours.

Moonlight Goldfields wash-up, 770z for 270 hours' sluicing.

Worksop return was 16oz for 120 hours and 9200 yards dredged.

Rimu Flat wash-up was 13Qoz 12dwt for 134£ hours and 40,330 yards. Emperor Mines, Limited (Fiji), has declared its eighth dividend of 6d a share, payable on August 31. Distributions since November, 1938, when the first payment was made, now total 4s 6d a share.
