HEAT WAVE IN AMERICA (Received July 25, 8 a.m.) NEW YORK, July 24. Deaths reported as the result of a six-day heat-wave total 224. The maximum temperature in the shade in South Dakota was 115 degrees. In South Carolina housewives were warned to keep, eggs in refrigerators to prevent them hatching.
