LONDON, July 23,

The Home Secretary, Sir John Anderson, announced in the House of Commons that an advisory committee had recommended that the detention of Captain Ramsay, the Conservative M.P., president of the Right Club, who was gaoled in May under regulation 18 (b), which gives power for the detention of persons associated with organisations subject to foreign control, should continue. Instructions had been given accordingly.
