DAIRY STOCK SALES
, Ay small yarding of all classes of 1 cattle, was offered at the sale conducted in Woodviile on Monday. The yarding comprised chiefly fat cows and heifers. The, entry of- springing dairy cows and .Jersey heifers was , small. Cattle prices: Fat ex-dairy cows and heifers, £4 15s to £7 15s; yealers, £2 10s to £3 7s 6d'; springing cows close to profit, £8 to £10 ss; springing heifers, £7 15s to £9 15s; store cows, £2 10s to £4. • On account of -C..-.E, Sigvertsen, a successful sale of dairy cows was conducted by the .New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., in Eketahuna on Monday. The cows, which came forward hi excellent condition, were mostly August ■ calvers, and met with keen competition. Prices ranged from'£lo to £16 10s, the whole herd making an average of £16 6s Bd.
