The practice of some consumers .sending coins through the post to pay their accounts, was mentioned at a meeting of the Dannevirke Power Board by the secretary, who said he had had to pay cightpence to the Post Office for compulsoi'y registration. Th» money sent was only 4s 6d. He gave other instances and added that if the practice was persisted in, the offenders would find the extra postal charg« added to their next accounts. - ■'<
