CHANGE OF COLOURS

The colours of the Anchor Shipping Company, black hull and white funnel with black top, which have become so familiar in all ports between Lyttelton and Onehunga, have been changed. The white funnels are now the same buff colour as were the funnels of the ships of the Shaw Savill and Albion Company, before they assumed their wartime garb. It is understood that the new colour has been adopted to avoid the expense of frequent repainting.
