APPOINTMENTS GAZETTED

The following appointments and promotions of officers of the N.Z. Military Forces in the Mobilisation Camp, Trentham, are gazetted:—

Lieutenant I. A. Murray, N.Z.S.C., is appointed Adjutant, Brigaded Units.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster W. L. Glanville, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Quartermaster, No. 1 Training Battalion.

Lieutenant and Quartermaster G. W. O'Sullivan, N.Z. Permanent Staff, is appointed Assistant Quartermaster, Mobilisation Camp, Trentham.

Lieutenant P. H. Brooks, Second N.Z.E.F,. is appointed Weapon Training Instructor, Training Cadre.

2nd Lieutenant B. R. Henderson, Second N.Z.E.F., is appointed Infantry Instructor, Training Cadre.

2nd Lieutenant W. Huse, Reserve, of Officers, to be Lieutenant and is appointed Advanced Training .Company Instructor, Training Cadre.

Lieutenant P. G. Thomson, Wellington Regiment, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed P. and R.T. Instructor, Training Cadre.

2nd Lieutenant D. N. McLeod, Retired List, to be 2nd Lieutenant, and is appointed Signals Instructor, Training Cadre.

N. Comrie-Smith (late imperial Army) to be Lieutenant, and is appointed M.T. Instructor, Training Cadre.

Lieutenant F. N. Hornibttiok, A.N.Z.1.A., L.R.1.8.A., A.M.1.5.E., Lond., M.R.5.1., is appointed Engineer Instructor.

Lieutenant-Colonel J. H. Irving, E.D., Hawke's Bay Regiment, to be Lieuten-ant-Colonel, and is appointed Officer Commanding No. 2 Training Battalion.

Major R. F. Mitchell, M.C., V.D., Reserve of Officers, Otagi Mounted Rifles, to be Major, and is appointed 2nd in Command, No. 2 Training Battalion.

The following are appointed Company Commanders, No. 2 Training Battalion, in the rank, shown:—R. A. Prescott (late British Expeditionary Force), to be Lieutenant; Captain K. B. Mc-Kenzie-Muirson, Retired List, to be Captain; 2nd Lieutenant W. L. Britton, Reserve of Officers, Wellington Regiment, to be Lieutenant; Captain R. C. Hollis, M.C., Reserve of Officers, to be Captain; H. A. Pattullo (late Imperial Army), to be Lieutenant. , .

2nd Lieutenant R. S. Beveridge, Reserve of Officers, to be Lieutenant, and is appointed Quartermaster,, No. 2 Training Battalion.

Lieutenant-Colonel J. H. Jardine, D..5.0., M.C., Taranaki Regiment, to be Lieutenant-Colonel, and is appointed Officer Commanding, Brigaded Units.

Captain R. F. Bale, . Reserve of Officers, N.Z. Artillery, to be Captain, and is appointed Company Commander, Brigaded Units.

Captain R! E. B. Hopkirk is appointed Quartermaster, Brigaded Units.

Captain G. H. Blanshard, Reserve of Officers, Wellington Regiment, to be Captain, and is appointed Company Commander, Brigaded Units.
