It is officially announced today that contracts with the British Government for the sale of the Australian surplus production of butter and cheese have been renewed at the same prices as the former contracts for these products. ______ The same prices free on board as former contracts, as above referred to, in sterling with the equivalent in Australian currency are as follows: — AUSTRALIAN PRODUCE. ButterFinest 112/6 139/11 First 111/3 138/4% Second 107/6 133/8% Whey (1) 104/6 130/Whey (2) 100/6 125/Cheese — First 64/3 79/11 Second 62/3 77/5 New- Zealand undertook to supply to Great Britain under the purchase scheme 115,000 tons of butter and 84,000 tons of cheese.
