PALMERSTON N., July IT.

Approval of the principle of carrying on A. and P. shows during the war was contained in a resolution passed at a.;conference of; delegates from associations in the lower half of the North Island. Not one association represented favoured show fixtures being discontinued. It was felt that associations had a duty to stud.stock breeders, and should do all in thexr power to assist the Government in it* campaign to increase production. •
