NEW CAMPAIGN AGAINST
FRANCE
LONDON, July 10,
The German Press has launched a new campaign against France giving prominence to lurid accounts by German prisoners of war of the treatment they received from the French.
All petrol in German-occupied France has been confiscated. The use of private cars is forbidden in unoccupied France.
Marseilles reports that the death sentence will be imposed for distributing in the German-occupied zone newspapers printed elsewhere.
