BOHEMIAN MALE CHOIR
Flight Lieutenant Gladstone Hill, who was recently appointed bandmaster and director of music of the Royal New Zealand Air Force, was congratulated and made many presentations at last night's annual meeting of the Bohemian Male Choir, of which Mr. Hill was formerly conductor. It was stated that since the inauguration of the choir, it'had, through Mr. Hill's efforts, made 26 public appearances at concerts, three studio presentations, and four recordings.
Mr. Hill thanked all members for their kind wishes and support, and expressed regret at vacating his office as conductor. He welcomed the new conductor, Mr. Claude Enright.
The following officers were elected:— Patron, Flight Lieutenant Gladstone Hill; conductor, Mr. Claude Enright; president, Mr. H. L. Bennett; secretary, Mr. G. E. Medhurst; treasurer, Mr. G. Thomson; pianist, Mr. Keeble Thurkettle; Committee, Messrs. N. E. N. Smith, R. H. Little, S. May, W. Diggle, R. McCheane, and H. Cheswan.
