NAZI PLANES DOWN
YESTERDAY'S FIGHTING
(British Olllcla! Wireless.) (Received. July 10, • 35 p.m.) RUGBY, July 10. A bulletin issufed jointly by the Air Ministry and the Home Security Ministry early on Wednesday morningstates: "On Tuesday evening enemy aircraft dropped a number of high explosive bombs on a town in East Anglia, some of which fell on buildings and in the streets.. There were a number of civilian casualties, including some killed.
"It is now confirmed that in addition to the four enemy aircraft already reported shot down on Tuesday, four other enemy planes have been destroyed during Tuesday's fighting. A number of others were seriously damaged and are unlikely to reach their bases."
