Air Force Relations Dance. The decorations of model aircraft at the Town Hall on Friday night for the Air Force Relations Dance will" be well worth seeing. They include two almost full-size aeroplanes and hundreds of smaller models. Intending guests are advised to purchase their tickets soon, as a very large attendance is expected. Tickets are obtainable at the D.I.C. and the Air Force Relations rooms, 1 Aitken Street. Boating Club Honours Members. The Paremata Boating Club held a social evening on Saturday in honour of the members of the club who have joined the Navy and the Third Echelon. The guests of honour were Messrs. G. j and A. Fisher, W. Reid, G. Nimmo, and Edginton, of the Navy, and Messrs. M. Frazer and D. Troy, of the Third Echelon. The clubrooms were well filled and a very happy evening was spent with cards, table tennis, and darts. The president, Mr. F. Brady, conveyed the club's best wishes to the boys, and Mr. G. Trevithick, vice-com-modore, endorsed these sentiments. During the evening a collection was taken up in order to supplement the funds for sending- biscuits to club members already serving with the overseas fighting forces. Tennis Champion Married. At St. John's Anglican Church, Toorak Road, Melbourne, on Saturday, Miss Nancye Wynne, the brill aittn Miss Nancy Wynne, the brilliant tennis player, who holds the championship of Australia and of New Zealand, was married to Mr. George Frederick Bolton, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Bolton, Corowa, New South Wales, states an exchange. She has represented Australia in England andj America, and visited New Zealand i early this year. Recently she has been! occasionally playing golf with Miss Alison Hattersley, sister of the wellknown amateur, Mr. Harry Hattersley. Large Private Party. A very large party, in aid of the Westmere Women's Trust Fund, was given by Mrs. W. J. Robinson in her jhome on Saturday night, states "The Post's" Wanganui correspondent. Five rooms were filled by some 120 guests, who enjoyed card games and musical items.
