Wellington were on top for practically the whole of the second spell and Cave and Stevens repeatedly led the forwards in splendid rushes. Also of considerable value to Wellington were the spirited efforts of Veitch and Robbie, the flveeighths. Robbie, in particular, was outstanding despite the treacherous conditions. Cave, lllingworth, Balfour, and ■> Stevens scored tries for Wellington, three of which were converted by Taylor: Johnsonvllle's score was made up of tries by J. Burns, Parsloe, and M. Kenny. Mr. H.
