The Dominion Auctioneering Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report receiving a large entry of pigs at their usual weekly sale, a total clearance being made at prices in excess of last week's realisations. Porkers in particular were keenly sought after. Poultry was in fair supply and maintained late rates. The usual supply of fruit and vegetables came forward. Pigs.—Best weaners to 265, medium 20s to 235, slips 27s 6d to 295, stores 30s to 375, heavy porkers 495, 51s 6d, to £3, medium porkers 40s, 42s 6d, to 465. Sows and litters £4 10s, to £8 15s. Poultry: best W.L. hens 3s to 3s 6d each, 8.0. hens 4s to 5s each, light Is to 2s j each, breeding , hens to 5s 4d each, pullets to 8s 6d' each, heavy cockerels 4s to 5s 3d each, medium 3s 6d to 4s each, breeding cockerels 5s to 8s 6d each, young ducks 4s to 5s 6d each, old ducks 3s to 3s 6d each, turkeys 6s 6d to 10s each, geese 4s 4d each.
