MAT TITLE BOUT ON MONDAY.

Earl McCready is to defend his British Empire professional heavyweight wrestling title against John Katan, the "iron man" from Alberta, at the Wellington Town Hall on Monday night. Both men are particularly keen to win the match, McCready because of the impression which has been created that Katan is too much of a handful for him, and Katan because victory will carry with it the coveted championship: Both are wrestlers of the highest class and can be depended upon to give a vigorous and exciting display. The preliminaries will commence at 8 o'clock and will include a five-round professional bout.
