Mr. T. Miller, formerly stationmaster at Frankton Junction, hat; taken up the position of stationmaster at Auckland. Mr. T. H. Trask, the former Auckland stationmaster, is now assistant district traffic manager at Dunedin.

The Vice-Consul de Carriere, of Sweden, at Wellington, has assumed Hungarian interests in New Zealand, according to a Gazette notice published last night.

Mr. Justice Tyndall arrived from Lyttelton by the steamer express today.

The Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and Messrs. Clyde Carr, H. S. Kyle, T. D. Burnett, and S. G. Holland, M.P.s, Will leave for the south tonight.

Messrs. W. Cecil Prime and A. L. Monteith, assessors in the Court of Arbitration, arrived in Wellington from the south this morning.
