TRENTHAM CAMP

PROMOTIONS & TRANSFERS

The following recent promotions at the Central District Mobilisation Camp, Trentham, have appeared in camp routine orders:—

Captain (acting Major) J. A. S. Mackenzie, Mobile Dental Section, has been granted the temporary rank of Major.

F. N. Hornibrook to be Lieutenant and is appointed an instructor. Corporal G. H. Lang (Records) to be Sergeant. Private S. T. Coffee (Records) to be Corporal. The following transfers affecting personnel at Trentham Mobilisation Camp have been notified. Corporal J. A. Barron (camp duties) to Papakura for posting to the 24th (Auckland) Battalion. Staff-Sergeant E. L. George, transferred to Papakura (camp duties). A. L. Lund and J. Cavanagh' from 25th (Wellington) Battalion to 15th Forestry Company. Private H. H. Stevens (Q.M. Stores) [to 15th Heavy Battery. NEW ARRIVALS. Personnel marched into camp, inI eluding a number of home service men [for various duties, include the following:— Lieutenant-Colonel W. W. Jefferd. Captain L. R. Neilsen, N.Z.S.C, to 'Camp Headquarters. 1 ' Lieutenant A. J. Eggo, from Tauherenikau, attached to 25th (Wellington) Battalion. I Lieutenant A. M. T. Dickie, N.Z.M.C., 4th Reinforcements, attached to No. 2 General Hospital. Chaplain C. E. Willis, from Wellington and Hutt Valley Area. Temporary W.O. I. G. B. Schou, to Headquarters, 6th Infantry Brigade. | Sergeants H. B. Bush and A. J. Chorley, to canteen. Privates J. D. Ackerman (to camp instructional staff), M. Cameron, M. L.
