COMPENSATION COURT
Judgment for the plaintiff in the claim in the Court of Compensation by Duncan Armadale Bennett, of Awahuri, labourer, against Reuben Merritt, of Aorangi, farmer, for compensation for the loss of sight of his left eye while employed sinking a well, has been given by Mr. Justice O'Regan. Plaintiff is awarded £1 13s 4d per week for the period of liability or until a further order of the Court, with medical and witnesses' expenses, and £10 10s costs.
