MILLION MEN LOST
STATEMENT BY FRENCH CONSUL
SYDNEY, June 20
In a statement in which he discussed Australian generosity and understanding for France, the French ConsulGeneral, M. Tremoulet, declared that France had lost a million men but was still fighting valiantly in spite \>f her exhaustion.
More than £2000 was raised at a concert in Sydney last night for the French Red Cross. ,
