PERSONAL NOTES
Dr. Helen Deem, medical adviser to the Plunket Society, Miss Fitzgibbon, director of Plunket nursing, and Miss Hoddinott, Dominion secretary, were visitors to Invercargill on Saturday for the official opening of the nurses' home at the Karitane-Hunt Hospital. Mrs. W. Trolove, The Shades, Marlborough, is a visitor to Christchurch. Mrs. G. W. Merewether, Wanganui, is visiting Wellington. Miss Lucy Adam and Miss Dora Putt are New Plymouth visitors to Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Mawley and Miss Margaret Mawley, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. Mr. and Mrs. A. Sutherland, Hinakura, Wairarapa, are visiting Wellington. Mrs. A. L. George, Seatoun, visited Masterton for the military ball last night. . . Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cook, Island Bay, have returned home from a. holiday visit to Hawke's Bay. Mrs. H. Scott and Miss M. Scott (Wanganui), Mrs. J. H. Barlow (Palmerston North), and Miss D. Davey (Blenheim) are staying at the Empire Hotel.
