FOUND IN HOTEL BED

Found in bed in a room in the Royal Oak Hotel at 12.30 a.m ; - today, William Clifford Walker, a labourer, aged 36, admitted a charge of being on the premises. without lawful excuse when he appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M,. in the Magistrate's Court today. The police said that Walker, when questioned, said that at about 8 p.m. yesterday he felt tired, and had no lodgings or anywhere to go, and went into the hotel. Walker was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence tf called upon within six months.
