MALTA RAIDED AGAIN

VERY LITTLE DAMAGE

EVACUEES REACH ENGLAND

LONDON, June 12,

Malta reports that two more raids were made last night and that bombs were dropped. The. raiders encountered heavy anti-aircraft fire. Very little damage was done.

Malta is strongly defended by British and regular Maltese troops and also by artillery and anti-aircraft guns.

A batch of evacuees from Malta and Gibraltar which has arrived in England includes 900 wives and children of soldiers and sailors, and also Spanish women who had never seen England.
