RUGBY, June 8

The evacuation of Dunkirk and the intensification of fighting in France are bringing thousands of small subscriptions in addition to others of larger amounts to the Lord Mayor's Red Cross Fund. Today the fund stood at £1,645,000. Last week more than £90,000 was subscribed. Heavy losses of ambulances and medical stores have been suffered and the Lord Mayor is asking for further help to make good these losses
