Mails (except parcel mails) will be closed 'at Chief Post Office, Wellington, Cl, as under:— Mails close at Posi Office, Te Aro, C 2, and Wellington East, C 3, and half-hourly prior to the closing of mails at the Chief Post Office,. between the hours of 9.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (Mails for Auckland per "Limited" express close at these offices at 4.45 p.m.) Tor' closing times of parcel malls, books, etc., see footnote. Express transit* parcels received up to time of closing letter-mails. Note. —Express transit parcels cannot be forwarded to Auckland by "Limited Express." The advertised times for closing mails by steamers are liable to alteration.. The public are earnestly requested to register all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. Between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. all commercial and printed papers, books, sample packets, and newspapers must be posted at this office half an hour before the time of closing, ordinary letter-mails, and at 4 p.m. for mails closing after that hour. Books, sample packets, and newspaper mails are closed at Te'Aro and Wellington East Post Offices at 11 a.m., 1 n.m., 2.30 p.m., and 4 p.m. daily.
