NEW POST FORMED

PARIS, June 6.
The Government has resigned and President Lebrun entrusted M. Reynaud with its reconstruction.
| It is officially announced that' M. i Reynaud, in reconstituting the Government, has taken over the portfolio of Foreign Affairs in addition to the Premiership and National Defence. M. Daladier is no longer in the Cabinet. M. Bouthiller becomes Minister of Finance; M. Prouvost, who is the pro* prietor of the "Paris Soir," Minister of Information; M. Frossard, Public Works Minister; and M. Delbos, Minister of Education. ' M. Louis Marin and M. Jean Ybarnegaray have been appointed members of Cabinet without portfolio. M. Paul Vaudoin is secretary of the War Cabinet and also Under Secretary of, the Prime Minister's office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. A notable feature of the changes is the formation of a new post called the Ministry of the French Family, which includes the health portfolio and which takes over the responsibility of refugees. Five well-known society people, members of the extreme Right Wing, were arrested under the security laws.
The semi-official Tele-France news agency, commenting on the arrests, says: "The reconstitution of the Government and the arrest of a number of personalities who are known for their attachment to the policy of compromise afford new proof of the country's determination to pursue the war alongside • our Allies, to complete victory."
