PATRIOTIC FUND

GOLF CONTRIBUTION

The council of the New Zealand Golf Association has decided to make an initial contribution of £1000 to the National Patriotic Fund. This includes amounts received from affiliated associations to date plus the association's subsidies.

For stealing a radio set valued at £20 10s, John Alexander Livingstone, a farm hand, aged 28, was fined £3 by Mr. A. M. Goulding, S.M., in the Upper Hutt Court, and he was ordered to pay £4 10s restitution.
