PRICES OF EGGS LOWER
The Wellington wholesale price of eggs was down today by one penny a dozen on last week's rates. Special grade are now 3s Id a dozen wholesale, A grade 2s lOd. and B grade 2s 7d. The decline is seasonal, but demand has fallen off in the South Island.
