LONDON STOCK EXCHANGE (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, May 23. The Stock Exchange rallied amazingly after an initial hour of depression. Gilt-edged securities, which early fell to the minimum levels, closed the same as on Tuesday with consols a quarter point up.
