Attlee, in answer to a question in the House of Commons, said he felt sure that the Government of Eire was alive to the possibilities of an invasion of Britain through Eire as also, of course, was the British Government. The Governments of Britain and j Eire had exchanged all proper information regarding the possibility of iuch an invasion. Conservative private members will ask the Government to discuss joint measures by the two Governments, pointing out that many German propagandists are in Eire, and also the possibility of parachute landings there for the seizure of ports and military objectives.
