The Italian Press grows more insulting towards the Allies, portraying the British fleeing and deserting the Belgians and French and sacking shops en route. Signor Mussolini conferred with the Supreme Defence Commission.
The University Senate, comprising professors and students, sent a message to Signor Mussolini demanding that they fight for the liberty and independence of Italy.
