WHAT NATION HAS BEEN WAITING FOR
LONDON, May 22. Press comment on the Emergency Powers Act is as follows;—

The Labour "Daily Herrld" writes: "We accept the new law. We salute the intelligence of the statesmen who have introduced it. Now all are one. ' ■• Th,e "Daily Express" says characteristically: "Hitler started this war eight years ago. We started today. This is the morning the nation has been waiting for ever since Mr. Churchill made his appeal four months . ago.".
