TOWN HALL SERVICE

PRIME MINISTER TO ATTEND

A large and representative committee has been formed to sponsor a citizens' united intercessory service in the Town Hall, on Sunday, at 2.45 p.m.

The Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) and the Mayor (Mr. T. C. A. Hislop) will read the Scriptures. Two brief addresses will be given by the Rev. Dr. J. Gibson Inkster and the Rev. Dr. Forde Carlisle, and the prayers will be offered by ministers and laymen of the various denominations. It is expected xhat representatives of the Navy, Army, and Air Force will be present. The Salvation Army Band will lead the singing and Mr. E. Gordon Anderson will preside.
