BEAUCHAMP.—At Nelson, Ernest Robert, loved youngest brother of Sirs. C. B. Bell, Hataitai, and A. J. and W. W. Beauchamp.
HERON.—On May 14, 1940, at Napier, Clara Ellen Heron, 'relict of the late John Henry Heron, of Lower Hutt; aged 68 years.
ORMISTON.—On May 15, 1940, at the residence of his son-in-law, J. F. Reid, 40 Raroa Road, Kelburn, James, beloved husband of the late Isabella Ormiston; in his 90th year. (Privately interred at Karori today.)
TONKS.—On May 14, 1940, at a private hospital, Wellington. Elizabeth Bowman, beloved wife of the late Albert Francis Tonks. 13 Antico Street, Melrose, and mother of Huia; aged 70 years.
