VERDICT OF GUILTY

ATTEMPTED BREAKING AND

ENTERING

A verdict of guilty was returned by a jury in the Supreme Court today at the trial of Norman Maitland Clarence Child and William Robertson Hislop orf a joint charge of attempting to break and enter the shop of Hill and Jackson, Ltd., in Ghuznee Street, with intent to commit theft. The accused were remanded for sentence.

Mr.1 Justice Smith was on the Bench. The Crown Prosecutor (Mr. W. H. Cunningham) conducted the prosecution, and Mr. A. B. Sievwright represented both of the accused.
