CANADIAN CONSERVATIVES

Dr. Manion has resigned the leadership of the Conservative Party and Mr. R. B. Hanson has been appointed temporary' leader.
Dr. Manion succeeded Mr. R. B. Bennett as Conservative leader in 1938. Mr. Hanson is a Privy Councillor and a former Cabinet Minister.
