ATHENIAN CLUB'S OFFICERS
The annual meeting of the Wellington Athenian Club, which was held recently, was well attended. The balancesheet showed a satisfactory position. Officers were elected for the 1940 season, which will commence this week in the new clubroom, Pharmacy Hall. The office-bearers are as follows: —President, Mr. E. Loader; vicepresidents, Messrs. H. Dodson, H. Seaton. W. Band, R. S. Walshaw, and Mrs. E. Loader; secretary, Mrs. W. Band; treasurer, Mr. O. Ashton; management committee, Mesdames Aitken, Miller, Reddish, Robinson, Tossman, and Coldbeck, Messrs. Duncan, Coldbeck, Robinson, Tossman, Sinclair, Burrows, and Aitken; trustees, Messrs. Dodson, Kellett, and Band; honorary auditors, Messrs. Clark and Mullins; honorary solicitor, Mr. J. Meltzer.
