ATHLETIC V. PONEKE

Athletic had a runaway win over Poneke when they met at Anderson Park. Poneke's forwards did not concede a great deal, but their backs were weak. Athletics backs were t.nippy lot, r and .Thompson, at half, got them away on several good scoring rushes.'
