ATHLETIC V. PONEKE
Athletic had a runaway win over Poneke when they met at Anderson Park. Poneke's forwards did not concede a great deal, but their backs were weak. Athletics backs were t.nippy lot, r and .Thompson, at half, got them away on several good scoring rushes.' Hammond had a good day with his boot for Athletic, converting four tries and kicking' two penalties. Tries for Athletic were scored by J. Christensen, Parkhouse, Gill. Glengarry, Godber, and Pelham. For Poneke, Roberts put over two penalties, and the final score was Athletic 32, Poneke C. .
