Mrs. G. Shirtcliffe, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs. G. Lyons, Palmerston .North.
Mrs. p. K. Tennant and Miss Margaret Tennant, who have been visiting Dunedin, left on their return to Wellington at the weekend.
Miss Eileen Rose, Wellington, who is visiting her aunt, Mrs. James Hight, Christchurch, will leave today for a short stay at Paraparaumu before returning to Wellington.
Mrs. Hoffmeister, Wellington, is visiting her sister, Mrs. O. C. Harley, Opawa, Christchurch.
Miss Joan Edwards, Auckland, who v visiting Wellington, and now staying at Croydon House, will be the guest of Mrs. Neal Instone, Karori, shortly.
Mrs. H. C. Hiatt, Hororata, has returned from a visit to the North Island, Where she was the guest of Mrs. 'Came Bidwill, Featherston. ■
Miss M. J. Turner, Wellington, who has been the guest of Miss Mildred Trent, Christchurch, left for the south on Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. E. Riley, Napier, are spending a holiday in Wellington.
Mrs. H. C. Gregory, Napier, has been engaged by the Marlborough Operatic Society to produce its annual presentation.
Mr. and Mrs. E. Davidson Woollett, Palmerston North, are spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Emden, Lower Hutt.
Miss Molly Hull, who has been spending a holiday in Blenheim, is now staying in Wellington "or a few weeks before returning to her home in Hastings.
Guests at the Hotel Waterloo include Mrs. J. B. Flemming, Mrs. W. Meikle (Wanganui), Miss M. Turner Williams (Hawke's Bay), Mrs. N. J. Shaw (Petone), Mrs. T. Savage, and Miss A. Toswill (Auckland).
