BRITISH CENSORSHIP
ASSOCIATION'S PROTEST
(Received May 4, 10.30 a.m.)
LONDON, May 3,
The Association of Oversea Empire Correspondents has sent a letter to Mr. Chamberlain and other Ministers and High Commissioners strongly protesting against the censorship activities of the service department.
"The association expresses deep resentment," the letter states, "at the order that all comment and speculation on military operations in Norway, and even political criticism of the Government relating to the general handling of the Norwegian campaign, should not pass the cable offices without reference to the Ministry of Information."
