Auckland's weather yesterday was fine and sunny, the maximum and minimum temperatures being 63.2 and 45.7 degrees. There has been but little wind there, and the weather this morning was continuing fine and clear.

Wellington enjoyed 9.3 hours of bright sunshine yesterday, with maximum and minimum temperatures of 58.8 and 42 degrees respectively. It was mostly calm yesterday, but a moderate northerly wind was blowing this morning, the weather still being fine.

Christchurch had light and variable winds both yesterday and this morning, and the weather there, too, has been fine and sunny. The maximum and minimum temperatures yesterday were 51 and 34 degrees, and there was a frost of three degrees last night. It was still fine this morning.
