Pope ■ and Co., Ltd., as follows:— Quinces, 6s to 11s a bushel; Grapes, hothouse, Is 6|d to 2s 4d a lb; peaches, 4s 6d to 8s half-case; Cape gooseberries, 7s to 8s 6d half-case; passion fruit, 9s to 11s hali-case. Tomatoes, Hutt, coloured, 4s to 6s half-case; ripe, 6s to 8s 9d half-case; mushrooms, field, 6d to Is lb. Potatoes, 5s to 7s cwt; onions, 9s to 12s cental bag; beans, 9s to 17s case; green peas, 10s to 23s sack; cucumbers, outside, 5s to 8s case; lettuce, 4s to 9s 3d case; cabbage, 5s to 6s 6d super sack; pie melons, 5s to 6s sack; cauliflowers, 6s to 9s super sack; silver beet, 9d to'3s case; spinach, 3s to 5s 6d case; marrows, Is to 2s. case; pumpkins, 4s to 7s super sack; carrots, 3s to 5s case; swedes, 2s to 4s case; parsnips, 4s to 5s case; beetroot, 2s 6d to 5s case; leeks, 4s to 6s case; celery, 3s to 5s case; rhubarb, 6s to 11s dozen bunches.
A fine performance was given on Sunday afternoon at Oriental Bay by the Wellington Boys' Institute Band, which recently won the B grade championship of New Zealand at the Centennial contest.
