YORKSHIRE FIRM'S GIFT

RUGBY, April 22.
Mr. Charles Brotherton, chairman of a well-known Yorkshire chemical manufacturing firm, has given £250,000 to help welfare work in towns and cities ;in the north and in the Midlands. A trust yielding'£ 10,000 a year will be formed for welfare schemes in cities and towhs where" the firm has branches.
