ROUGH COUNTRY IN EGYPT

: Members of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force have begun their first large-scale exercises since their arrival. These aim to test the powers of co-ordination of , the infantry, cavalry, and artillery over very rough country. The manoeuvres will conclude on April 24, and the troops will attend a religious service on Anzac Day. . ~
