AIR VIOLATIONS

SWEDISH TERRITORY

25 NAZI PLANES

STRONG PROTEST

LODGED

(By Telejrraph—Press Assodatlon~CopyrlKht.l (Received April 23, 10.50 a.m.) . STOCKHOLM, April 22. , Sweden has made a strong protest to Germany against aerial violations of her territory. Twenty-five Nazi planes flew over Sweden yesterday, and two were forced down. (Daventry Broadcast.) , German abuse of Swedish neutrality reached its peak yesterday, when, ac« cording to one Stockholm newspaper,; German planes made no fewer than 28 flights over various parts of the coun.----1 try, and four of them were put out of action. 1 The number of planes involved is good evidence that it is not merely a i case of a stray aeroplane losing its way. One paper suggests that they are taking photographs, and, another that they are attempting to locate Sweden's antiaircraft guns. Sweden has protested to Berlin in. stronger terms than usual. - - .
