MATCH WITH BURNHAM
The selection of the Trentham team to play Burnham in the special Aymy Rugby football match at Christchu'rch next Saturday has been made as follows:— Full-back: Pte. J. B. Simpson (Taranaki/, 22nd Battalion. Three-quarters: Pte. B. P Oakea, (Taranaki),-22nd Battalion; Sergt. Prp r G. Barton (Wanganui), 25th Battalion; Pte. Duncan (Bay of Plenty), sth A.T. Company. Five-eighths: Sergt, Vincent (Canterbury) , General Hospital; .Pte. Burgess (Canterbury), General Hospital. Half-back: Corpl. C. G. Rae x (Wellington), Pay Corps. \ Fowards: Sergt. D. C. Latham (Taranaki), 25th Battalion; "Pte. Hearn (Canterbury), General Hospital; Sergt. T. G. Fowler (Taranaki), '22nd Battalion; Lieut. Forman (Otago), General Hospital; 2nd, Lieut. A. H. Armour (Wellington and Wairarapa),, • 25th Battalion; Lance-Corporal. P. ; Donoghue (Wellington), 22nd Battalion;, Pte. B. Gillespie (South Canterbury and Canterbury), 27th M.G. Battalion; and Corpl. Twigg (Poverty Bay), sth A.T. Company. Emergencies: Backs, Pte. R. W. Ayres * (22nd Battalion); Corpl. J. Bradley (25th Battalion). Fowards: Pte.'V. P. , Freeman (22nd Battalion); and LanceCorp. M. Ashman (22nd Battalion). The side will be captained by Sergt. Barton, and the manager will be Lieut.T. Campbell, of the 22nd Battalion. There will also be a special match at Auckland next -Saturday, and in this the Maoris will meet another Army team.
