RAIL-CAR CONNECTIONS

In order to improve the passenger connections between Taranaki and Auckland while the Stratford -Okanukura line is undergoing repair the Railway Department is arranging special rail-car connections from and to New Plymouth with the Limited express at Marton.

Commencing tomorrow and on each subsequent Friday, Monday, and Wednesday until further advised, the following special rail-cars will run between New Plymouth and .Marton:— After connecting with the Limited express from Auckland, a rail-car will leave Marton at 6.10 a.m. for New Plymouth (arrive 10.23 a.m.); and a rail-car will leave New Plymouth* at 6.5 p.m. for Marton (arrive 10.35 p.m.) connecting- with the Limited -express for Auckland.
