ANZAC DAY
PARADE DETAILS
The/'.military, order covering, the Anzac Day; parade, of Territorial units and secondary school cadets in Wellington was. issued, this week by Major E. Reeves, M.C., Area Staff Officer. The units concerned will parade in conjunction with the Returned Soldiers" Association and civilian bands. The parade will be commanded by Licut.Colonel G. Lyon, M.C., E.D.
The following units have been inJ structed to parade .in Featherston Street, south of Ballance Street, at 2 p.m., on April 25, in the order named from the north: —Artillery Band, R.N.V.R. detachment, sth Field Battery, 15th Heavy Battery, 19th Medium Battery; 22nd Anti-Aircraft Battery, 2nd Field Company, New Zealand Engineers, Central Depot New Zealand Corps of Signals, Ist Battalion Wellington Regiment (City of Wellington's Own), "B" Company New Zealand Scottish Regiment, 2nd Composite Company N.Z.A.S.C, and 2nd Field Ambulance N.Z.M.C. The 2nd Cadet Battalion will' assemble in Stout Street.
The parade will later form up in parallel columns facing the War Memorial. After the service the units in the order stated above will march past the War Memorial and continue through Lambton Quay and Willis Street to Mercer Street, where the various units will proceed to allotted stations for dismissal.
